I’m rampant at the moment, I’ve got 22 musicians, 5 artists, one graphics designer, an aloof venue manager, recording studio guy, proofing editors, journalists, boxing companies, friends, family and myself all biding for attention as the process of organising Operation Concrete finally comes together.
It’s maddening, but the most important thing is that it’s all actually happening, and within two months, I’ll have curated an art exhibition, put on what is essentially a mini-festival, launched my first novel, released a CD and published an Art book. Oh, and I’ve started setting up own publishing house, called Rawstone Media Industries, which will produce three or four or as many as I can manage, collaborative media projects similar to Operation Concrete, a year. Essentially supporting independent publishing of niche, creative, and burgeoning artists, musicians and writers.
So, it’s mental, but awesome, I’ve just moved into a great new flat in Shoreditch, which is going to be really conducive to my creativity, and I plan on picking up my camera again soon and getting some snaps, as I really enjoyed it when I had the time previously. I really, really need to start video blogging, which I think I’ve mentioned before, and I’ve been putting off because I hate being in front of the camera, but I plan on doing one a week for the next ten weeks, leading up to, during and post the launch and things, so keep an eye out for that.
And now, for some inspirational things from my last seven days of browsing. I created a mood board for my novel front cover designer to take ideas from, you can find that here.

Hey! I searched for "novel" in blog catalog and found your blog.
That's amazing. I've always wanted to start my own exhibit.
What's even more amazing is that you've successfully launched your first novel. I'll have to search your blog a little more to find out more information about it.
I take it you're from UK. I'm a struggling novelist from Australia. I am also working on a graphic novel with an illustrator friend of mine.
I know you'll probably be busy, but please feel free to also check out our blog. The latest entry I've written is here:

I shall now rummage through your blog. Best of luck with the exhibition.
