Here it is, the fruits of my labour, for you to read and enjoy.

Concrete Operational - Alpha v0.8

Germany Germany has been taken out of a world that feeds on the ignorance of its people. A world that is dominated by fake stories and plastic faces, a world where the government has absolute control, through the terrible concept and proliferation of what is known as: Celebrity.

As a set of events unravel that take Germany to the highest echelons of this world’s existence, he realises he has the power to make change. Change that will mean his death, but change that will spark the Great Face Riots and provide humanity with an illustrious future.

But as humanity reaches its pinnacle, a tepid end, unbefitting to such a great civilisation is on the horizon. The Negotiators of the far future realise this and have plans to bring back the fervent nature of mankind, plans that will need a myriad of climactic events, and the greatest minds that have ever shone.

Events and minds that will take everything through a maze of re-birth, dystopian and utopian futures, self analysis and determinism. To the very brink of their existence, fuelled by terrible rage, greed, hatred, lust for power and quelled by love, and the need for love to be able to exist at the end of it all.

Science Fiction mixed with fatalistic philosophy and contemporary issues of celebrity and narcissism.

Now, just a few things that I would like to point out.

1. The copy you are reading is Alpha 0.8, which to those none-geeks, means that it’s a very early iteration, a work in progress, etc.
2. I’m releasing it in alpha so I can get feedback, so I can improve, and because in the theme of the social media, I like sharing.
3. Please leave your feedback / reviews in the comments section and I will update this post as the feedback comes in.
4. There will be a synopsis and loads of ideas and stuff that I want to run past all you guys to get it into a state for publication in the near future.
5. I’ve given myself another 6 months for revisions and such before I push for publication, however, this may turn into more as I may yet turn the book into a trilogy.
